Test and Automation Engineer job description
Extropic is hiring a Test and Automation Engineer to help accelerate development of our embedded systems. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a startup environment, who is looking to take ownership of product areas and ensure quality and stability. The ideal candidate is a generalist who enjoys working close to the metal.
Required Experience
Automating data collection of devices under test
Programming in Python and/or C++
Familiarity with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
Familiarity with embedded Linux systems
Familiarity with standard hardware protocols (SPI,I2C,USB,PCIe,MIPI,UART)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Experience
PCB design and layout
Embedded system design
Handling and debugging complex integrated systems
Probing and testing integrated circuits
