Jr. HR Generalist job description
Key responsibilities
Support the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, contracts, personnel records, transfers, and offboarding
Maintain accurate and audit-ready employee data in the HRIS
Assist with local labor law compliance and coordinate with legal/compliance on regulatory requirements (e.g., BSP-related HR policies, statutory reporting)
Respond to employee queries on policies, benefits, and procedures
Assist in preparing HR reports and metrics
Help maintain and update HR policies and the employee handbook
Support internal audits and regulator-facing documentation requests when needed
Requirements
1–2 years of experience in an HR generalist, HR coordinator, or HR assistant role
Experience working in a bank or other BSP-regulated financial institution strongly preferred; familiarity with regulatory expectations around HR documentation and processes is a plus
Understanding of Philippine labor law fundamentals (DOLE requirements, statutory benefits: SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG)
Comfortable working with HRIS/HR systems and Excel/Google Sheets
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good written and verbal communication in English
Nice to have
Exposure to compliance, internal audit, or regulatory reporting processes
Experience with HRIS implementation or process digitization
