Tasks
- Perform microbiological media preparation, plating & screening.
- Develop, validate, and optimize assays through careful planning and execution.
- Support general microbiology upkeep, molecular biology work, and documentation.
- Support shake flasks and fermentation runs, including setup, monitoring, and sampling.
- Contribute to general laboratory tasks (cleaning, autoclaving, Gram staining).
Requirements
- You are currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- You are familiar with basic microbiology and molecular biology techniques such as bacteria handling and cultivation, DNA extraction, PCR, and agarose gel electrophoresis.
- Basic bioreactor experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
- You are driven by curiosity.
- You have a hands-on personality and team-play spirit.
- You are passionate about sustainability and eager to be part of a fast-growing scale-up.
- Fluent English.
