General info about the role

We are looking for a Sales Operations Manager who wants to learn how a modern Sales organization operates and how Salesforce, reporting, data and processes support our commercial teams.

You will work closely with our Sales Operations team, the Salesforce Administrator and our Sales teams. In the beginning, the role will be quite hands-on and operational, with plenty of opportunities to learn and gradually take ownership of your own topics.

Salesforce will be an important part of the role, but this is not a pure Salesforce Administrator position. You will support a broad range of Sales Operations topics and help us make everyday processes easier, more structured and more scalable.

What you will do

  • Support our Sales teams with day-to-day operational questions and requests.

  • Create and maintain Salesforce reports, dashboards and list views.

  • Help with sales targets, project goals, account assignments and data-quality topics.

  • Support our Salesforce Administrator with user management, configuration, testing and documentation.

  • Manage and coordinate operational support requests through tools such as Jira or Asana.

  • Help us improve existing Sales Operations processes and gradually support more automation and integration topics.

How the role can develop

As you become more familiar with our Sales organization and Salesforce environment, you will gradually take ownership of your own Sales Operations topics.

Over time, the role can develop towards more advanced areas such as Salesforce automation, process optimization, integrations, reporting and AI-supported Sales Operations.

What you bring
- 2-3 years experience in Sales Operations, Sales Support, CRM administration or a similar environment.
- Understanding of B2B sales processes and an interest in working with data and systems.
- First hands-on experience with Salesforce or a strong motivation to learn it.
- A structured, reliable and service-oriented way of working.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn, take ownership and continuously improve how we work.
- An interest in using automation and AI tools responsibly to make operational work more efficient.

Nice to have
- Experience with one or more of the following is a plus, but not a requirement:
- Salesforce Sales Cloud or similar CRM
- Sales Reporting experience
- Jira, Asana or Confluence
- ERP or invoicing processes such as SAP
- A Salesforce certification

What we offer

In addition to our great team, culture, and our shared goal of empowering people with data, there are many other things that make Statista a great place to work! Join us and benefit from:

  • Work from abroad up to 30 calendar days a year
