About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Software Development Engineer II (SDE-2) who thrives on owning mid-to-large scale features and improving the efficiency and scalability of modern cloud-native systems. You'll be expected to take initiative, contribute to architectural design, and play a key role in delivering secure, reliable, and high-performing software in an agile, collaborative environment.
In this role, you will:
- Own and deliver mid-to-large scale features across the backend and API layers using Python,FastAPI, Django and Apache Kafka
- Design and implement modular and scalable backend services integrated with cloud-native platforms (Kubernetes, Helm)
- Build modern APIs and micro services that interface with relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (ElasticSearch) data stores.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and automate deployment processes
- Proven track record building and deploying cloud-native applications on AWS, GCP
- Experience in vibe coding using AI Agents such as Codex, Claude or Gemini.
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in an agile environment
