Member of Technical Staff — Developer Experience job description

About the Role

RadixArk is seeking a Developer Advocate to build and engage our technical community around SGLang, Miles, and our open source infrastructure. SGLang already has 30K+ GitHub stars and serves billions of tokens daily across leading AI companies and research labs, and we're looking for someone to be the bridge between our engineering team and the developers building on top of us.
You'll create technical content, give conference talks, host workshops, and work directly with developers to help them succeed with our systems. This role combines deep technical expertise with community building, and you'll have real influence over how our products are perceived and adopted by the broader AI infrastructure community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Content & Education: Create technical content that helps developers succeed with SGLang and Miles, including tutorials, cookbooks, video guides, blog posts, and live streams. Host workshops and live coding sessions demonstrating deployment patterns and optimization techniques. Build demo applications and reference architectures that showcase what's possible on RadixArk's infrastructure. Partner with engineering to translate new features into accessible content as soon as they ship.
  • Conference & External Representation: Give talks at conferences, meetups, and webinars on AI infrastructure optimization and best practices. Represent RadixArk at industry events, hackathons, and university recruiting activities. Build relationships with AI researchers, infrastructure engineers, and technical leaders to grow RadixArk's presence in the community.
  • Community Engagement: Engage directly with developers on GitHub, Discord, and social media to answer questions, triage feedback, and surface what the community is building. Identify and amplify community contributions, success stories, and innovative use cases. Build and maintain relationships with influential developers, open source maintainers, and technical educators.
  • Engineering & Product Partnership: Gather product feedback from the community and synthesize insights for engineering and product teams. Bring real developer pain points back into roadmap conversations, and close the loop with the community on what's been delivered. Track community metrics and continuously improve how we engage with developers.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in developer advocacy, developer relations, or a senior engineering role with significant community-facing work.
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience building AI applications or infrastructure.
  • Excellent public speaking skills with a proven track record of conference talks and technical presentations.
  • Outstanding writing and content creation abilities across formats including tutorials, blog posts, videos, and live streams.
  • Solid understanding of AI/ML infrastructure, including LLM serving, distributed training, and GPU optimization.
  • Proficiency in Python and the ability to write production quality code examples.
  • Self-starter who can identify opportunities and drive initiatives independently.
  • Genuine passion for open source development and community building.
Preferred (Bonus) Qualifications
  • Active presence in developer communities such as GitHub, Twitter/X, Discord, or Reddit.
  • Existing relationships with AI infrastructure engineers, researchers, or open source maintainers.
  • Experience working with or contributing to popular open source AI/ML projects.
  • Familiarity with C++, CUDA, or kernel-level optimization.
  • Experience running developer programs at an infrastructure or developer tools company.
