About the Role

OpenLoop is building the future of healthcare infrastructure. We are hiring Senior Full Stack Engineers to join our Product Engineering organization with opportunities available across multiple teams and initiatives. This role is hybrid. The Toronto product & engineering team gathers in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at OpenLoop, you will play a key role in designing, building, and scaling production-grade systems that power our nationwide healthcare network. Depending on team placement, you may work on clinical workflows, partner integrations, AI-powered services, patient engagement platforms, or core infrastructure. We are building a strong pipeline of senior engineers who are excited to work across the stack and help drive technical excellence across the company.

What You'll Do

  • Lead Deployments: Architect and execute technical integrations for new healthcare partners, customizing our platform to fit their unique workflows and legacy systems

  • Bridge the Gap: Build the "last mile" of connectivity. You will design robust data pipelines to securely ingest clinical data and synchronize it with our AI services.

  • Communication Infrastructure: Configure and optimize voice and messaging channels to ensure reliable patient engagement across various telephony networks.

  • Cross-functional Work: Collaborate with engineering, product, and clinical teams to translate partner needs into crisp technical execution

  • Other duties as assigned.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field

  • Proven Engineering Experience: 5+ years of experience, Strong background in shipping production-grade software in modern cloud environments. You are comfortable hopping across the stack—from APIs to databases to infrastructure.

  • Data & Security Fluency: Experience handling sensitive data with a security-first mindset. Familiarity with industry-standard compliance requirements and data protocols is essential.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and translate ambiguous partner needs into clear technical requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Integration Expertise: Deep experience connecting disparate systems. You understand the complexities of data ingestion, API interoperability, and third-party integrations.

  • AI/LLM Curiosity: Practical experience or strong interest in working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and understanding how to operationalize them in production settings.

Base salary Range for this position in Ontario, Canada is CAD$125,015 - 156,268.
(In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for a bonus and equity.)
