Senior Test Engineer at Kepler Computing

About the Role:

A successful candidate will take a primary role in test strategy development, enablement and optimization spanning hardware and software. Team working skills, tenacity, ability to simultaneously manage multiple priorities, ability to deal with uncertainties inherent in a fast-moving R&D environment, great planning and communication skills are some other qualities we profoundly value at the company.

Responsibilities:

• Creating, developing, debugging, and optimizing test programs, patterns and methods for memory, compute and system testing.

• Working with partner teams and companies to spec, design, quote and purchase test hardware.

• Executing test strategies and methods across different test environments, scaling for capability, test time and cost and cross-compatibility.

• Executing Design of Experiments (DoE), debugging device issues and determining root causes of failures and marginalities.

• Collecting data on in-house test platforms as well as scaling that data collection and DoE to partner test environments.

• Collaborating with other groups and individuals to ensure testability, quality assurance, process feedback and yield optimization of future designs and products.

Requirements:

• Must have prior experience with semiconductor testing, preferably with a focus on memory systems.

• Experience with memory and/or ATE test systems. Specific experience with Advantest memory testers is very desirable.

• Proven track record developing, deploying, debugging and optimizing test programs

• Excellent data analysis and interpretation skills.

• Experience ordering test hardware.

• Excellent collaboration skills, teamwork, dedication and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

• BS or higher in the field of Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 7+ years of experience.

Nice to Have:

• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work without established standard procedures and develop such procedures and processes as you go.
