Senior Optimization Engineer at Bringoz

Responsibilities

• Optimization Engine Leader: Serve as a central pillar for our optimization engine, collaborating closely with the product team to shape the journey from client requirements to server-side reality.
• Architecture Ownership: Lead and maneuver the optimization engine architecture to ensure maximum efficiency and scalability.
• Complex Problem Solving: Solve complex puzzles by investigating discrepancies between system design and real-world results, proving hypotheses, and taking actionable steps to resolve them.
• Backend Development: Define and maintain the server end-to-end flow, develop server-side logic, and ensure high performance, scalability, maintainability, and responsiveness to frontend requests.

Skills And Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a Java backend developer - Must.
• 2+ years of practical hands-on experience in developing and researching algorithms
• Education: BA/BSC in Computer Science, and/or equivalent - Must.
• Mathematical & Algorithmic Orientation: Strong mathematical orientation with the ability to develop constraints and algorithms, manage their life cycle, evaluate them, and prevent regressions.
• Domain Expertise: Hands-on experience and deep understanding of the route optimization domain.
• System Design: Experience leading design and architecture-related activities.
• Scalability: Experience working large-scale environments, and knowledge of building high-quality, reliable enterprise SaaS products in a team.
• Database Experience: Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (Datastore, Mongo, etc.).
• Creativity and excellent problem-solving skills, desire and ability to learn new things, ability to define project milestones and deliver on-time, and excellent communication skills.
