We are looking for a European Transport Manager to join our team and manage all transport operations for freight and parcel deliveries across the UK and Europe.

What is a day in the life of a Transport Manager?

  • Manage all transport operations for freight and parcel deliveries, including marketplace and DTC carriers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers, ensuring optimal performance and cost efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyse carrier performance metrics, implementing improvements as necessary.
  • Oversee budgeting and cost management for transport operations, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Ensure compliance with international customs requirements across a diverse range of product types.
  • Utilize a deep understanding of European road freight networks and practices to optimise logistics strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and enhance logistics networks.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to ensure best practices in transport management.
  • What will I need to thrive in this role?

  • +5 years and proven experience in transport management, with a focus on international logistics.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK and European road freight networks.
  • Excellent knowledge of UK and European customs regulations and process.
  • Strong analytical skills with a track record of managing and refining logistics networks.
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
  • Experience with Amazon logistics is a plus.
