Job Summary:

We are looking for talented and personable Senior Hair Stylist to join our friendly team of hair and beauty specialists. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and qualified stylist with excellent technical abilities, coupled with real creative flair and love of hair. We work with industry leading brands and pride ourselves on our style and creativity. We are looking for a talented stylist to join our St Peter Port salon. From day one you will be supported to establish a thriving book of clients and you will provide them with a top class salon experience including:

Key Responsibilities:

1.      Providing advice on the latest fashion trends.
2.      Cutting, colouring and styling at the highest level.
   
3.      Demonstrating the latest products and techniques.
   
4.      Promoting client rebooking, cross-selling and up-selling of appropriate services and products.
   
5.      Assisting with the training and development of apprentice and junior stylists.
   

Essential Criteria (Skills, Qualifications, Experience):

1. A trained and highly competent hair stylist holding at least NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
2. 3-4 years' experience of working in a busy salon and used to maintaining a book of clients.
3. Creative and innovative with a real passion for hair.
4. Self-motivated and always striving for excellence.
5. Great communication skills and comfortable talking to anyone.
6. Ability to work as part of a team.
