We're looking for someone who wants to help build the next generation of Sales Operations, Compensation, and  Performance metrics. Accurate commission statements, clean compensation rollouts, and operational excellence are expected. Those are the foundation of the role.

 

We believe Sales Operations should move beyond reporting the news to helping shape it. By combining compensation, AI, territory management, analytics, and planning, our goal is to create an organization that helps sellers understand how they're performing, where they should focus, and what actions will improve results.

What you'll do

Sales Compensation Operations

You'll own and continuously improve the operational side of our compensation program, including:

  • Draft compensation plans and supporting documentation
  • Administer compensation plans within Xactly
  • Coordinate compensation rollouts and communications
  • Support commission calculations and governance
  • Manage SPIF administration
  • Support new hire compensation setup
  • Partner with HR, Finance, and Sales Leadership on compensation initiatives
  • Our expectation is simple:

    You'll become one of the primary operational partners to our Sales organization by helping connect

  • Territory planning and optimization

    Corporate Performance

    You'll partner closely with our Corporate Performance organization to support:

  • Compensation expense forecasting
  • Rep performance analytics
  • Territory analytics
  • Executive reporting
  • Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Board reporting 
  • Over time, you'll become increasingly involved in:

  • Annual planning
  • Headcount planning
  • Territory planning
  • Quota planning
  • Sales capacity modeling
  • Rep productivity analysis
  • This role has the opportunity to influence how Everbridge plans, measures, and enables the business

     

     

    What you'll bring:

    Required Qualifications

  • 5–7+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Sales Compensation
  • Hands-on experience with Xactly
  • Strong Salesforce experience
  • Experience supporting sales compensation programs and quota rollouts
  • Experience with territory management or sales operations processes
  • Strong understanding of sales organizations and seller workflows
  • Technical Skills

    • Experience with Snowflake or another enterprise data warehouse
    • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI platforms
    • Advanced Excel skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

     

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing sales role (BDR, AE, or Sales Leadership)
  • Experience with forecasting and corporate planning
  • Experience building scalable operational processes
  • Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, or similar
  • The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Everbridge ranges from $118,700 - $158,200 and may also include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
