Technical Program Manager - EU at Lunar Outpost

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to help us create the future of lunar surface energy technology in a fast-paced startup environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in startup environments, can balance strategic planning with day-to-day execution, and is comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams developing cutting-edge space systems.

As a Technical Program Manager you will oversee multiple projects, lead cross-functional teams, align priorities, managing schedules and risks, tracking deliverables, and ensure projects remain on track from concept through deployment. You will serve as the central point of coordination between engineering, leadership, partners, suppliers, and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously across different programs.
• Support proposal development, contract deliverables, and customer engagements.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and resource plans.
• Monitor progress and proactively identify schedule, budget, and technical risks.
• Drive issue resolution and facilitate decision-making across teams.
• Organize and lead project reviews, status meetings, and milestone assessments.
• Ensure alignment between technical execution and business objectives.
• Support leadership in prioritizing initiatives and allocating resources.
• Communicate program status, risks, and opportunities to executive leadership.
• Coordinate activities with external partners, suppliers, government agencies, and customers.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and program documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support configuration management and project documentation processes.
• Help build scalable project management practices suitable for a growing organization.
• Contribute to the development of company processes as the organization scales.

Required Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aerospace, or related field. 
• 7+ years of experience in project, program, or product management.
• Proven experience managing technical/engineering space projects.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines.
• Proven experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Comfortable operating in a startup environment
• Self-motivated, focused, and driven to meet critical deadlines 
• Ability and desire to relocate to Luxembourg 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience working with government-funded programs or commercial space contracts.
• Experience working directly with the European Space Agency and/or other space agency.
• PMP, Agile or similar project management certification.
• Experience in aerospace, space systems, robotics, thermal, autonomous systems, defense, or deep-tech industries.
