Role summary 

Take Kuunda's most complex opportunities from agreement to launch and first revenue, faster and with fewer surprises. 

This role exists to improve delivery outcomes, make dependencies visible earlier, shorten time to revenue and strengthen execution discipline across teams. 

Key responsibilities 

• Lead priority initiatives end-to-end, from opportunity through implementation, launch and first revenue. 

• Create one integrated delivery plan across Commercial, Product, Technology, Credit, Data, Finance, Risk, Operations, Implementation and Country teams. 

• Clarify ownership, decision paths and handshakes across functions and markets. 

• Identify dependencies and risks early, and escalate decisions before they become blockers. 

• Build practical delivery standards that improve predictability without creating unnecessary process. 

• Provide honest, useful executive reporting that supports faster, better decisions. 

First six months: what good looks like 

• Priority initiatives have one visible plan and clear workstream owners. 

• Dependencies are managed before they become delivery risks. 

• Executives can quickly see status, risks and decisions needed. 

• Launch readiness improves, with fewer surprises and last-minute escalations. 

• Teams spend less time coordinating and more time executing.

What we are looking for 

• 5 to 7+ years leading complex, multi-stream delivery in fintech, financial services, technology, consulting or similar environments. 

• Proven track record converting complex initiatives into clear execution and measurable outcomes. 

• Strong commercial and financial literacy, with the confidence to challenge assumptions. 

• Experience across distributed teams, markets and time zones. African market experience is advantageous. 

• Practical fluency in hybrid, agile and waterfall delivery, with comfort using tools such as Jira, Confluence or Azure DevOps. 

• PMP, PRINCE2 or similar certification is welcome but not required.
