Field Marketing, EMEA job description

About the Role

Factory is hiring an EMEA Field Marketing lead to own and build our field and account-based marketing motion across the EMEA region.

This is a foundational role based in our London office. You will not inherit a fully built team or playbook - you will create the EMEA field motion from the ground up in partnership with Sales and global Marketing. You will own how Factory shows up in-market across EMEA, from high-touch ABM programs and executive events to strategic sponsorships, customer dinners, roundtables, and regional activations.

Every program you run will be tied to target accounts, informed by sales priorities and account intent, and measured by its impact on pipeline, deal acceleration, and revenue.

This role is both strategic and hands-on. You will own regional strategy, quarterly planning, budget allocation, pipeline targets, and the operating rhythm for EMEA field marketing, while also rolling up your sleeves to execute. Over time, you will help build and scale the regional team needed to support Factory’s growth across EMEA.

What you will do and achieve

  • Own Factory’s EMEA field marketing strategy, planning, budget allocation, and pipeline targets across priority markets, segments, and account tiers.

  • Serve as the senior marketing partner to EMEA Sales leadership, partnering closely on where to invest, which accounts to prioritize, and how to turn engagement into pipeline and revenue.

  • Build and manage the EMEA field marketing calendar across key markets, cities, segments, and sales priorities.

  • Plan and execute high-impact programs, including:

    • Executive dinners and private roundtables

    • Webinars

    • Boutique ABM events for strategic accounts

    • Developer and engineering leadership meetups

    • Industry conferences, sponsorships, and partner events

    • Customer and prospect experiences tied to priority opportunities

  • Own the full event lifecycle: strategy, account targeting, invitations, logistics, vendors, budget, onsite execution, follow-up, reporting, and optimization.

  • Build strong pre-event and post-event motions that improve registration, attendance, meeting creation, opportunity progression, and sales follow-up.

  • Measure field marketing impact rigorously and report on pipeline creation, acceleration, ROI, and account engagement.

  • Surface insights from the EMEA market to inform messaging, campaigns, product positioning, and broader go-to-market strategy.

  • Create scalable playbooks that can be replicated across countries, segments, and future regional teams.

  • Partner with Sales leadership and the global Marketing organization to identify where regional support is needed, shape the hiring plan, and help build the EMEA field marketing team over time.

  • Build, manage, and scale the EMEA field marketing function over time, including future hires, vendor relationships, agencies, regional playbooks, and operating processes.

  • Champion the Factory voice and ensure every program reflects the ambition of our mission to bring autonomy to software engineering.

Qualifications

  • Experience owning a regional field marketing motion across EMEA.

  • Experience at a high-growth startup or hyper-growth technology company is strongly preferred.

  • Proven track record of driving pipeline through field programs supporting Enterprise and Mid-Market sales.

  • Strong experience planning and executing ABM-style events, executive programs, and industry sponsorships across EMEA.

  • Experience with 1:few and 1:1 ABM programs.

  • Experience working closely with B2B sales teams and aligning marketing programs to account priorities and revenue goals.

  • Experience owning budgets, pipeline goals, vendor relationships, and regional planning.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple programs, countries, vendors, budgets, and stakeholders at once.

  • Comfort with marketing tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Luma, intent data platforms, and event tools.

  • Willingness to travel across EMEA for events, customer engagements, and field programs.

Location: This role is based in Factory’s London office and will require regular travel across EMEA.
