About Beyondbmi

Beyondbmi is a digital-first obesity and weight management service, combining medical treatment, nutrition, and coaching into one joined-up experience. We support members to achieve healthy, sustainable weight loss through GLP-1 medications and evidence-based behaviour change, delivered by our multidisciplinary team (MDT) of doctors, nurses, dietitians, and coaches.

Our aim is to facilitate health gain far beyond weight alone.

Role Overview

As a Dietitian at Beyondbmi, you will play an important role in supporting members with the nutritional aspects of their weight-management journey.

The role is primarily focused on 1-to-1 consultations, which will make up approximately 80–85% of your time. You will provide personalised, evidence-based nutritional advice to members, helping them manage their nutrition alongside GLP-1 treatment, address side effects, improve dietary quality, and build sustainable habits that support their long-term health.

The remaining time will involve contributing to the wider nutrition offering through member resources, educational content, webinars, and programme development where appropriate.

This role would suit a dietitian who enjoys working directly with patients, values building strong therapeutic relationships, and is passionate about making nutrition practical, supportive, and achievable.

The position will initially be offered on a contractor basis, with the potential to move into a permanent role over time, depending on mutual fit, performance, and the evolving needs of Beyondbmi.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care

  • Conduct primarily 1-to-1 member consultations, accounting for approximately 80–85% of your working time.
  • Provide personalised, evidence-based nutrition consultations tailored to each member's individual needs, medical history, treatment, and goals.
  • Support members with the nutritional aspects of GLP-1 treatment, including managing common side effects, maintaining adequate nutrition and hydration, and supporting muscle mass and overall health.
  • Address more complex dietary challenges and conditions, including T2D, IBS, and other relevant chronic health conditions.
  • Help members develop realistic and sustainable eating habits that support both weight management and broader health outcomes.
  • Provide clear, practical and personalised written guidance following consultations where appropriate.
  • Identify when further clinical input or escalation is required and work with the wider MDT to ensure appropriate follow-up.
  • Participate to bi-weekly MDT discussions and share relevant clinical insights to support individual members.
  • Maintain accurate, timely and high-quality clinical documentation.

Nutrition Content & Programme Support

  • Contribute to the development and review of member-facing nutrition resources.
  • Support the delivery of occasional nutrition webinars, workshops or community events.
  • Provide input into nutrition-related content and programme development where your clinical expertise adds value.
  • Help translate complex nutrition science into clear, practical and accessible guidance for members.

  • Experience providing individualised nutritional care and working directly with patients.
  • Good understanding of nutrition in the context of weight management and chronic disease.
  • Ability to translate complex nutrition science into clear, practical and achievable advice.
  • Excellent communication skills and an empathetic, patient-centred approach.
  • Strong clinical judgement and ability to recognise when further assessment or escalation is required.
  • Comfortable delivering healthcare remotely and using digital health platforms.
  • Highly organised and able to manage a clinical caseload independently.

Desirable

  • Experience working within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience supporting patients taking GLP-1 medications and understanding their nutritional implications.
  • Experience in obesity medicine or specialist weight management.
  • Experience with conditions such as T2D, IBS or other metabolic health conditions.
  • Experience delivering webinars, workshops or online education.
  • Interest in digital health and innovative models of healthcare delivery.
