Head of Insurance at Cachet

Cachet is on a mission to de-risk the platform economy through flexible and adoptable insurance solutions.

We are a hybrid team based in Tallinn, Stockholm, and Warsaw, and we work remotely across the EU.

What You' ll Do

As Head of Insurance, you will play a key leadership role in expanding and managing our insurance operations across Europe. You will:

·        Secure insurance capacity and maintain strong partnerships with insurance carriers across Europe.

·        Lead our insurance product development and programs, underwriting, and framework agreement negotiations.

·        Manage our insurance offerings, localization efforts, and support sales teams in tender processes.

·        Help build and lead our growing Insurance team

·        Collaborate closely with the Product team to leverage the advantages of our SaaS and data products.

·        Ensure compliance with insurance distribution guidelines across Cachet.

·        You will be part of the Management team, report directly to the CEO.

Who You Are

·        You have 5+ years of experience in the insurance sector, with a strong network and proven track record.

·        You’re organized, pragmatic, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

·        You stay current with market, regulatory, and sector developments, and proactively identify opportunities to strengthen Cachet’s offering.

·        You’re hands-on, with experience in building and scaling teams and operations from the ground up.

·        You’re comfortable in a remote-first, cross-border company where processes are evolving and agility is key.

·        Tools like Slack, Notion, and Zoom are second nature to you.

·        You’re a natural collaborator with excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills.

·        You’re skilled at building and maintaining credible, professional relationships with clients, internal teams, and external partners to support growth.
