Embedded Lab Technician

We're looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Embedded Lab Technician to join our team in Shivajinagar, Pune. If you have a passion for electronics, hands-on lab experience, and are eager to contribute to product testing and development, we encourage you to apply!

As an Embedded Lab Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our engineering team by performing various testing, maintenance, and assembly tasks within our lab environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Testing: Execute automatic and manual tests on electronic products, accurately recording and reporting results.

  • Component Handling & Soldering: Perform soldering and de-soldering on a variety of components, including through-hole, bare board, IC packages, and SMD packages (resistors, capacitors, inductors, etc.).

  • Technical Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings to aid in testing, assembly, and troubleshooting.

  • Equipment Operation: Utilize and operate essential lab equipment such as logic analyzers, signal analyzers, function generators, AC/DC power supplies, and multimeters.

  • Lab Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance and calibration of test equipment, including power supplies, automated test stands, and test fixtures, to ensure optimal performance.

  • Basic Troubleshooting: Assist with basic troubleshooting of electronic circuits and test setups.

  • Lab Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe lab environment.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Preferably a Diploma in Electronics/Electricals.

  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in an electronics lab setting, with a strong preference for semiconductor lab experience.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Basic knowledge of electronic components and standard lab accessories.

    • Proficiency in soldering and de-soldering techniques (through-hole, bare board, IC packages, SMD).

    • Familiarity with operating common test equipment (logic analyzers, signal analyzers, function generators, AC/DC power supplies).

    • Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

    • Good communication and teamwork skills.

    • Proactive and eager to learn new technologies and processes.

    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
